Konkrd Named AI Innovator in Insurance at the 2026 Australian AI Awards

Konkrd has won AI Innovator – Insurance at the Australian AI Awards 2026. The award recognises how we use AI to help Australians compare private health insurance, so this seemed the right moment to explain exactly how that works and what it means when you're choosing cover.

Konkrd wins AI Innovator – Insurance

The Australian AI Awards are presented by AI Daily, a Momentum Media brand, and recognise the people and organisations developing and applying AI across the Australian economy. The 2026 winners were announced at a gala at the Hyatt Regency Sydney on Friday 30 October.

Konkrd was named a finalist in the insurance category in September, alongside insurers, brokers and insurtech businesses from across the industry, and was announced as the category winner on the night.

Konkrd's AI engineering team is led by co-founder and Chief AI Officer Dr Yuval Marom.

In February 2026, Konkrd completed a health insurance sale handled end to end by this agentic AI platform, from understanding the customer's needs through to the policy being issued, with every step checked along the way.

Where people still matter
